During this engagement, students visit a local company in your industry of interest and hear from executive speakers. Formats vary by organization and range from formal boardroom discussions to candid conversations in a collaborative space. Sessions are followed by a Q&A, and a company tour can be incorporated into the experience.
We will work with you to identify your program theme and learning goals, prep the speaker to ensure an optimal experience, and provide students with a company briefing to help with question generation.

This interactive meeting brings together knowledge learned in the classroom and the practical skills necessary to succeed in today’s business world. Students will be given a business challenge by the presenting company and be broken into teams. In their breakout groups, they will wrestle with the complexity of balancing global, regional, and industry issues, as well as costs, and organizational culture as they work towards brainstorming the best solution.
Teams will come back together and present their solution to their classmates and the company representatives and receive feedback on the feasibility of their suggestions. Our team will help you identify the appropriate company and then work with that company on the right business challenge to give your students.
This engagement is designed to get students off the bus and experience some of the microeconomics of a city by interacting with local citizens and places in an active exchange. Students will break into groups and walk or take public transportation to select locations that bring a variety of new encounters and allow them to experience the city from the perspective of a local consumer.
Our team will work with you to identify the appropriate businesses and locations and provide materials that will aid your students before, during, and after the engagement.
Panel discussions are a great opportunity to add value to a program by seeing the dynamic between various leaders in the host market. During this open, faculty-moderated discussion, three or more speakers, all of whom are experts in the market, will provide students with unique perspectives on the program theme.
Thanks to the more casual, informal setting, speakers are typically more at ease and straightforward with students, allowing them to dive deep into the elements of international markets most relevant to their study and background.
This experience provides on-the-ground learning from leaders in sustainable businesses, local and global nonprofits, and social enterprises to equip students with an awareness of the social issues faced in a society. It also provides them with a working knowledge of how the organizations operate successfully in the community.
While meeting with organizations pursuing philanthropic, humanitarian, or community-focused goals, your students will dive deep into the practicalities of running an organization with these aims, as well as the mission, opportunities, and challenges.
Service-learning provides students with an understanding of the social, environmental or economic challenges of the host city during a short-term program. The scope of the activity is tailored to your program goals and interests, with key pillars of service such as human services, healthcare, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.
Students engage in hands-on service over the course of a few hours or several days, actively working to better the community they are visiting while learning about the area’s unique challenges through a management discussion with allocated time for a Q&A.
During this engagement, student teams apply critical thinking, business knowledge, and strategic problem solving within the context of real-time challenges confronting today’s global businesses. Over the course of several weeks, students meet with stakeholders to delve into the project scope, ask questions, and begin forming their final reports.
Student groups then present final findings and recommendations to each company on the project due date. We work with you to ensure the scope and length of each project fits your needs.
